Two-Visit Repair Process
The first appointment is a focused, 90-minute session priced at $149 that begins with complete removal and a detox step, then moves into an intensive strengthening repair system designed for compromised, brittle, or weakened nails. The emphasis is on assessing the nail bed and applying structured support rather than a quick cosmetic overlay, so technicians can create a foundation for healthier growth.
About 2–3 weeks after the initial visit we schedule a return appointment to monitor progress and protect newly grown nail. That follow-up visit is priced at $99 and intentionally avoids full removal when possible, so technicians can preserve integrity while continuing to add corrective structure and protection as the nail responds.
Technique and decision points
The program’s core decisions center on when to fully remove coatings and when to preserve existing material to protect the nail. Removal and detox at the start allow a clean surface for the repair system; later, technicians weigh new growth length, adhesion, and client comfort to decide how much restructuring is necessary without repeated full removals.
Client nail history, current damage, and lifestyle are the practical constraints shaping technique. Because this is a result-driven, structural approach rather than a single cosmetic treatment, progress depends on observable regrowth and periodic reassessment; the plan is adjusted at the second visit to balance ongoing support with minimizing invasive steps.
Scheduling and local logistics
Studio Chique serves Washington, DC’s Langdon neighborhood and nearby communities like Brookland, College Park, and Brentwood. We offer flexible early-morning and evening booking for commuters and parents, and the location is convenient for clients using Rhode Island Ave–Brentwood or Brookland-CUA Metro stations, making it practical to fit the two appointments into workday or weekend plans.
Local climate and lifestyle influence timing and aftercare: Washington’s humid summers and cooler winters can affect nail maintenance routines, and we recommend scheduling your first visit with enough time before weekend outings to the U.S. National Arboretum or Union Market. Self-care packages are available for clients who want a coordinated visit before or after nearby activities.
