Session structure and timing details
Retreat Circuit is delivered as two consecutive 15-minute experiences: a 15-minute infrared sauna followed immediately by a 15-minute zero-gravity chair. The session is scheduled as a single 30-minute appointment and designed as a private reset for your body and nervous system. Staff prepares the equipment and times transitions so you experience uninterrupted warmth and supported reclining.
On arrival you'll have a private space to change and a brief orientation from staff about how the rotation works and when to signal for assistance. The infrared segment provides gentle radiant heat while the zero-gravity chair lets you recline with support; transitions are timed so the entire experience remains within the advertised window and fits into a short break.
What to expect physically
Expect a gentle warming sensation during the infrared segment and a feeling of supported suspension in the zero-gravity chair. Neither component requires active movement; most clients rest quietly or practice breath awareness. Because Washington has humid summers and cool winters, many local clients choose short resets like this to fit into commutes or midday errands without committing to a longer treatment.
Stay hydrated before and after your session and avoid heavy meals immediately beforehand to remain comfortable. If you have a heart condition, are pregnant, or have other medical concerns, consult your physician before booking; our reception can also advise whether this modality is recommended for your situation without providing medical assessments.
Local convenience and access
Studio Chique sits in Langdon with easy access for clients traveling from Hyattsville, College Park, Brookland and other nearby neighborhoods. The Rhode Island Ave–Brentwood and Brookland-CUA Metro stations make after-work or midday appointments convenient for commuters. We offer flexible early-morning and evening booking options to accommodate parents and shift workers balancing family and work schedules.
If you're visiting the U.S. National Arboretum or Union Market on weekends, consider pairing the Retreat Circuit with one of our self-care packages; ask staff for current options. For same-day bookings and package details, contact reception or book online; we keep sessions short so guests can combine them with errands, market visits, or quick stops in the Brentwood / Rhode Island Avenue commercial corridor.
