Your appointment combines three services—Brazilian, brows, and underarms—delivered with gentle herbal wax and expert technique. We cleanse and prepare each area, apply the herbal wax, then remove hair with care to minimize irritation. The esthetician works methodically to balance smooth removal and skin comfort while keeping the experience private and discreet in our Langdon spa.
After waxing, treated areas may feel warm or slightly sensitive; we provide soothing post-wax care and specific aftercare guidance. Avoid heavy exercise, hot baths, and direct sun exposure for at least 24 hours to help skin settle. If you commute from Rhode Island Ave–Brentwood or Brookland-CUA stations, allow a few extra minutes to change into loose clothing before leaving.
How results are shaped
The outcome depends on hair growth cycle and prior grooming. Because the herbal wax pulls hair from the root, regrowth is generally delayed compared with shaving, but individual timing varies. Washington’s humid summers can influence comfort and sweating in underarm areas, so clients sometimes schedule touch-ups seasonally. We discuss maintenance frequency that fits your routine and local lifestyle.
For brows, the esthetician focuses on shaping and refining rather than removing bone structure. We work from your facial proportions and styling preferences to create a natural, maintained arch. Because brows are visible daily, many clients book routine brow maintenance between Brazilian appointments to keep a polished look without extending session length.
Booking and local convenience
Studio Chique is located in Washington’s Langdon neighborhood, convenient for guests coming from Hyattsville, Mount Rainier, Bladensburg, College Park, Brookland, and Brentwood. We offer flexible early-morning and evening bookings to serve commuters using Rhode Island Ave–Brentwood and Brookland-CUA Metro stations, and to accommodate parents or shift workers balancing family and work schedules.
Appointments last 60 minutes and are priced at $179 for the combined Herbal Brazilian, Brows & Underarms package. Bring loose clothing, avoid heavy lotions or oils to the treatment area, and arrive a few minutes early if you’re traveling from Union Market or the U.S. National Arboretum and want time to settle in.
